Enjoy dosa with a healthy twist! With Ragi Dosa Mix, you can whip up crispy and savory South Indian dosas/pancakes made with Ragi (also known as Finger Millet or Nachani) and rice. Ragi is a rich source of calcium and fiber.
Makes around 20 dosas.
Ragi, Black gram (Urad Dal), Fenugreek Seeds (Methi), Rice, Cumin Seeds, and Curry Leaves.
Mix 1 measure of Ragi Dosa Mix with 1 measure of water, a ½ measure of curd (optional) and salt to form a smooth batter. Keep the batter aside for 30 minutes. Heat a flat pan on medium flame and grease it with little oil. Spread 1 tbsp of the batter on the pan in sweeping circular motions to form a dosa/pancake. Drizzle and spread some oil over the surface and the edges of the dosa/pancake. When the surface looks cooked (not soft or runny), flip it and cook the other side for about a minute. Fold the dosa into half and serve hot with coconut/tomato chutney, sambar or pickle.
Tasty Tip: For extra flavor, you can add grated coconut, chopped vegetables, coriander or curry leaves.
