Dal Rice Mix (Paruppu Podi) is a seasoning blend that can be added to your cooked rice and curries or sprinkled on top of your masala dosa and uttapam. It’s an easy way to bring the flavour of dal to your meal.
Tuvar dal (Pigeon pea), pepper, red chilies, salt, curry leaves, fried gram and horse gram.
Mix the desired amount of Dal Rice Mix to hot cooked rice with ghee/oil. The mix can also be added to different dry curries like bhendi fry, brinjal fry, etc., to add that extra zing to the dish. The Dal Rice Mix can also be sprinkled on top of masala dosas or uttapams.
